GIRLS GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
A SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVE IS NEEDED FOR
ALL PARTICIPANTS. IF YOU HAVE A BOY AND
A GIRL AT DIFFERENT SITES, YOU NEED TWO REPRESENTATIVES. IF IT IS NOT A SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVE, CLEAR
THE NAME WITH STEVE NATALIE, GLEN MILLS SCHOOLS.
NO COACHING IS PERMITTED ONCE A
PARTICIPANT HAS TEED OFF ON THE FIRST TEE DURING ANY MATCH THROUGH OUT THE
SEASON. ALSO, NO HELP BETWEEN TEAM
MATES IS PERMITTED. TEAM MATES ARE NOT
PARTNERS.
IF SIX OR MORE LEAGUES HAVE GIRLS’
TEAMS, THEN ONLY THE LEAGUE CHAMPION COMPETES AT THE DISTRICT ONE
CHAMPIONSHIP. IF LESS THEN SIX, THEN
THE LEAGUE CHAMPION AND RUNNER UP CAN ATTEND THE DISTRICT ONE
CHAMPIONSHIP.
IN THE NEED TO POSTPONE THE
CHAMPIONSHIP, DISTRICT ONE WILL POST IT ON THEIR WEBSITE.

FORMAT: The championship will include competitors in attendance from Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 11 &12. A total of 32 girls will advance from these Districts.
District 1 has been allotted 8 of that number.

LOCATION: Heritage Golf Club, York, PA.
Format: From the Regional Championship, 13 girls will advance to the State
Championship. They will be joined by11 girls from the Western Regional Championship to compete in the State Individual Championship.

NOTE: The qualifying standard for girls to make the
Individual District Tournament will be
as follows:
All female players
must shoot a score no higher than 28 strokes over the
Women’s course rating from the tees from which they are
playing at their League Qualifying Tournament..
To accommodate the additional girls expected to qualify, the girl’s first
round of Districts will be held at Gilbertsville Golf Club on October 12.
The low twelve (15) scores and ties will advance to the second round at Turtle Creek.
